Whomever you have by your side for Valentine’s Day this year, what better way to celebrate the day of love and friendship than with some eats and treats from our amazing local businesses? And if you’re looking for a little giftie for your Valentine – we’ve got you covered! Below is our list of the best things to do and places to shop in preparation for February 14th.
What to do:
Toscana’s in The Tower will be serving a delish five course Valentine’s dinner all weekend long. And for an extra special night, you have the option of ordering gorgeous flowers from The Flowery to be waiting for you at your table. On February 10th, 11th, 13th, and 14th – Click here for more info.
La Mo Café has been taking a hiatus from dinner service for the past few months, BUT (let’s all breathe a major sigh of relief!) they’re opening up on Valentine’s Day for a super special prix fixe dinner. They’ll have four courses of deliciousness, live jazz in the courtyard, and yummy cocktails, too. They only have a few tables left, so make your reservation ASAP! Click here for more info.
Bistro 234 is always a great option, whether you’re wanting a romantic dinner for two or some drinks with your girl squad. Their info is here.
The Udder Place will be serving up their usual awesome drinks and bites on Valentine’s Day – grab your best pals and come out for karaoke night! More info here.
Rembrandt & Rosé is holding a sweet couples class on February 10th – book your reservation right here.
The brand new brainchild of Gabrielle Forrest and Xavier Huerta of Alegria Ballroom Dance Academy, Sips & Salsa, will be holding their (free!) launch party at The Udder Place on February 12th. Bloody Mary’s, mimosas, and dance lessons – sounds fun, right?? More info here.
Speaking of romantic dance lessons…on Valentine’s night itself, Gabrielle and Xavier will be at Vintage Lounge for Salsa & Bachata Lessons. Your $25 fee will get you lessons, champagne, and delicious chocolate dipped strawberries, mmmm. More info here.
How about some square dancing?? The Turlock Steppinpards meet once a week, and drop-ins are always welcome. Head out there tonight (February 8th) at 7pm! More info here.
Turlock Community Theatre will be hosting the Golden Dragon Acrobats on February 22nd – it’s a little after Valentine’s Day, but it’ll probably be easier to get a babysitter! More info here.
