It’s Fall!

It’s Fall!

Hey! Have you stepped outside today? Did you feel that? There’s a chill in the air! Sure, maybe we have to shuck off our extra layer by noon to get rid of that upper lip sweat but that won’t stop us from sipping our pumpkin spice lattes and piling fall candles in our shopping carts.

Did you know that Turlock and our surrounding towns want to celebrate fall as much as you? If you’ve checked HeyTurlock.com recently you’ll notice that a bunch of events are coming to the area!

Let’s get pumpkin crazy! RAM farms, located at the east end of Canal Road and Daubenberger Road has a massive selection (over 40 varieties!) of uber cute pumpkins. From bright orange, round, bumpy and lumpy to gorgeous Fairytale pumpkins and Winter Squash! If you need a fresh fall walk, check out their U-Pick flower patch! A huge field of flowers that – guess what – YOU can pick! Gather what you want and just pay for your bundle at the cashier! They have all you need to get your decorating fix on. While you’re there, have fun in the 20 acre corn maze and take silly pictures with hay bales and darling scarecrows! (#yayfall #heyturlock #welovefall) Then, on most Friday and Saturday nights come bring the kiddos, friends and blankets – RAM is having FREE “Movies Under the Stars”! Shows begin at dusk! Find showtimes on their website!

Wanting some new plants for the garden? Grab a warm London Fog from Café La Mo and head to the The Greenery located on Main Street. Fall is the perfect time to plant annuals like Sweet Peas, Calendulas, and Cyclamens for color all winter long. The Greenery has a ton of great tips and not so spooky tricks for your fall green thumb.

Get even more creative in the garden and check out Garden in the Barn‘s fall blossom event happening October 28 from 9a.m. – 4p.m.. They have a lot of one of a kind planters, upcycled furniture and special orders are certainly welcome! Find a ton of cute garden decor and inspiration! More details on HeyTurlock.

Boo! For those who love that sweet adrenaline rush there’s something extra special for you – Ranch of Horror at the FEARgrounds!
