Ali Cox & Company Sells Local Digital Marketing Business
HeyTurlock, a community social media communication platform and e-business directory in the Turlock area, has been sold to Jackie and Matt Bill of Turlock. The transition took place in the early spring.
The Bills will act as owner-operators of HeyTurlock and will work directly with the over 80 businesses that have HeyFave memberships. HeyTurlock has thousands of Instagram and Facebook followers that turn to the organization for up-to-date event listings in Turlock, Denair, Delhi, Hughson, and Hilmar on its Facebook, Instagram, Blog and Online Event Calendar.
“We love HeyTurlock and the bonding experience it has helped foster in our community,” HeyTurlock co-founder Ali Cox said. “I’m so thankful HeyTurlock will continue to grow and expand under the management of Jackie and Matt. They are phenomenal Turlock advocates and will do a great job taking what we’ve started and continue to grow the business organically.”
HeyTurlock was formed in 2016 by cousins Hilary Smith Callis and Cox, who wanted to fill the need for more information about local happenings and events. In the four years since, HeyTurlock has grown into a community staple for information and happenings for community activities. Ali Cox & Company, Inc. took full ownership in 2019.
New HeyTurlock Owner/Operator Jackie Bill mentions, “We are so pleased to have the opportunity to take what Ali and Hilary have started and continue to do the good work of telling local stories and promoting local activities,” she said.
