Enjoy free family fun during Community Day at Turlock Community Gardens from 10AM-3PM on Saturday October 14th.

Featured Event Activities: Children’s Business Market, Free Art & Crafts, Community Item Swap, Plant Swap, Balloon Animals, Vendors and More!

CHILDREN’S BUSINESS MARKET: It’s a market… run by kids! These budding business owners will be in charge of creating their own products, speaking to customers and closing the sale!

ARTS & CRAFTS: Free nature based art and sensory stations for children.

ROCK PAINTING TABLE: You will find all you need to create lawn art for your home or a gift for the community garden’s Little Library Area.

PLANT SWAP: Visit the free plant trading table to share cuttings, extra gardening supplies, and seeds.

ITEM SWAP: Members of the local community can bring unwanted gently used goods to the Community Swap Tables on the day of the event. Visitors are invited to look through the items and take anything for free. You can bring and take between 10am-3pm. (This includes people who did not bring items, there is plenty to go around.)

COMMUNITY PICNIC AND PLAYDATE: Pack a lunch from home or grab a to-go order and enjoy brunch in the garden. Free refreshments will be available (while supplies last).
