The University Art Gallery announces its latest fine art exhibition Ghost Forest by artist Sarah Grew. This installation of photographs will be on display from Oct. 17 through Dec. 15, 2023. The exhibition is free and open to the public.
The Ghost Forest transforms the destructive force of wildfires into photographs made of ash. Printed on glass and installed in the middle of the room, the viewer is invited to wander through, observing all stages in the life of a forest. In printing with ash on glass, the fragility of the forests in the face of our climate crisis is accentuated.
