This is Backstage Academy of Dance’s 38th production of the Nutcracker. The show has been twisted from the traditional ballet to include beautiful ballet and pointe work as well as jazz, lyrical, and hip hop pieces.
The role of Clara is being danced by Norah Frank, the Sugar Plum Fairy by Sydney Lloyd and Uncle Drosselmeyer by Gregory Perez. They are joined by a wonderful cast of about ninety dancers.
After each performance there will be a Sugar Plum Party where you can meet the characters and enjoy some treats!
